Our creative community

One of Inkpots’ biggest strengths lies in our members – the young people who come along to our groups and who share their enthusiasm for books and reading, their creative ideas and their friendships. Whether online or face-to-face, Inkpots provides a safe space where young people can be themselves and explore their stories, be supported with wellbeing and have fun!

Face-to-face groups

In 2022, we were delighted to be able to return to The Burgess Hill Academy in mid Sussex where we had started to develop a creative space just before the Covid pandemic.

We currently run three lunchtime groups: Year 8s on Tuesdays, Year 10s on Wednesdays and Thursdays is for Year 7s. All the students make a wonderful contribution to the development of the space, as well developing their own creative projects at group sessions too.

We are incredibly proud of all the members of our creative community. They are all fabulous young people who embrace our values of kindness, creativity and inclusivity.
