Helping find the right space where hope can grow and dreams are made.

Mentoring for young people

For young people age 11 – 16 years, regular support and a calm, secure space in which to unload can be so important.

This is an area of my work where I have particular experience and it’s work that I feel very privileged to be able to do.

I run a six week programme called The Way Forward as well as ad hoc Sounding Board Sessions.

Mentoring in schools

I am particularly well versed in working with students in Years 9 and 10 – although I am delighted to mentor students in all years at secondary school. My approach helps students gain confidence, find clarity and focus and understand where they are heading.

I offer mentoring and peer mentoring programmes which can be tailored to meet the needs of individual schools.

Mentoring for change

There are certain times in a young person’s life when change is inevitable – but that doesn’t mean it is easy.

In particular the move from primary to secondary school can be particularly challenging. The different routine, approach and friendships may all feel challenging.

Mentoring can help a young person and transitional support in particular makes all the difference.

Resources

On the Resources page, you’ll also find a range of really helpful, free resources which will introduce you to my approach to mentoring too.

Is there something specific you’d like to talk about?

I just feel that I can be me. For a little while, I stop worrying and relax. It’s one of the best things in my week.”
