Inkpots Youth Mentoring – the next chapter

At Inkpots, we’ve seen time and again how mentoring changes lives. A safe, calm space and a trusted adult can make all the difference to a young person who’s feeling uncertain, anxious or unheard.

That’s why we’ve started a new charity called Inkpots Youth Mentoring  – so we can reach even more young people, particularly those from underserved or underrepresented communities who might not otherwise have access to this kind of gentle, consistent support.

Why we’re starting a charity

For over a decade, Inkpots has supported young people across Sussex through mentoring and personal development and creative programmes. We’ve seen the impact first-hand but we also know that cost and access can be real barriers.

By becoming a registered charity, we’ll be able to:

  • Offer free or low-cost mentoring to families who need it most
  • Partner with more schools, youth clubs and community groups
  • Create new programmes that build confidence, resilience and self-belief

Our application has recently been approved – our registration number is 1216057.

What we’ll offer:

1:1 mentoring

Regular, supportive sessions to help young people talk, reflect and grow.

Group mentoring

Small, friendly groups where young people can connect, share experiences and build confidence together.

Personal development programmes

Focused workshops and courses designed to strengthen self-esteem, communication skills and emotional wellbeing.

Please support us so that we can support as many young people though our programmes as possible
