On 18 February, we had a really enjoyable Inkpots Half Term Workshop which had an Under the Sea theme.
The children made mermaid pictures, did sea monster colouring and did watery puzzles. We talked about using the sea as a theme for stories and how authors such as Michael Morpurgo use the elements in their books.
One of the best things was that Alice who used to go to our Manor Field Inkpots came to see us. Alice and her family moved from the area last year but she was back visiting her friend Katie who also is an Inkpot. Our picture shows Alice giving Katie a piggy back.
It was a really lovely morning, made very special by the number of children who worked together to produce something creative.
Some of the children’s work can be seen in our Gallery: www.inkpots.org/wordpress/february-half-term-workshop//
