This new online club for young creatives in Years 6 – 9 will have its first meeting on Wednesday 25 March. We’re doing this in response to the school closures because of corona virus. But we’re very excited to be doing so and hope that as many young people as possible will join in.
The plan is to run the meeting via Zoom for 20 minutes when we can talk about the activities we enjoy, share some book news and the young people can show some of their work if they wish. The club will run on the same lines as out face-to-face groups where we value each other, show kindness and respect each other’s work. And have fun!
Gill will also share some ideas for projects plus tips for developing work.
We will run the club throughout the time the schools are closed. After four weeks, we will review how the format is working and discuss any changes with the young people. The club will also be free to this point and we will review the best way forward after that.
So that we can manage attendance, please could you sign up via the following link and you will be sent the details needed to join the meeting.
