Inkpots Inc the exclusive, creative club where we share writing, drawing and reading activities and tips.
Inkpots Inc is our new online club for children age 8 – 11 who love writing, reading, drawing and all things art or book-related.
Each month a new creative bundle will be released exclusively to club members (this month is all about animals in the jungle), which will include a video message with writing ideas and book news, our own newsletter, guest interviews with authors and artists, help with editing and story development – and much more! And all children will have access to their own individual Inkpots page on this website.
“Thank you so much for your help, skill, motivation and enthusiasm” Parent
Through Inkpots Writing Workshops, we have built a community of young creatives who have the chance to express themselves at our after school clubs and holiday workshops. Friendships have been built and strengthened and a real team spirit runs through all the activities. Kindness is appreciated and valued and the support offered goes beyond an hour after school or in the holidays.
It’s now time for Inkpots to expand and we will be taking that same spirit and feeling with us into Inkpots Inc. (Already children from the clubs are talking about how they can encourage others to join in – and are planning a big party for us all!)
“My son loves Inkpots so much. Thanks for giving him a space to explore and develop his creativity.” Parent
In order to develop an online club, strong links have been developed with authors, illustrators, teachers and librarians so that our children will have access to the very best advice and inspiration – along with a healthy dose of fun!
“It was such a treat to meet so many enthusiastic, creative and industrious children. You are a marvel @inkpots_writing_workshops” Illustrator and author, Sophy Henn
So, come and join our creative community where children thrive and their self belief and confidence grows and grows
How Inkpots Inc works
- Please sign up below – we are asking that parents as opposed to the children sign up so that we have contact details for an adult for correspondence. Teachers and librarians are also most welcome too, for example!
- Once this has been processed, you will be sent your sign in details and you will then be able to access this month’s activity page. Each child will also be offered the chance to have their own page in the Inkpots Inc Gallery. This is password protected and will only be accessed by members of the club. You will also be sent separate details of how to access your child’s page where their work can be displayed, and how work is uploaded. Other information such as our social media pages and how we keep in touch will be detailed too.
- Your child will be sent a membership package in the post – just wait for the package to fall through the letterbox!
- The activity page will be updated at the start of each month – and then two weeks later, the Inkpots Inc newsletter will be sent – again in the post – to your child.
As a special offer to mark the launch of the club, the first 25 people to sign up will be able to do so for £12.50 a month, as opposed to the usual cost of £15 per month. (This will remain so for the course of the membership.) We also have goody bags for the children too!
